30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If AnyCaptcha doesn’t work for your Joomla setup within 30 days of purchase, email us for a complete, immediate refund — no questions asked. We believe in the quality of our product and want you to buy with zero risk.

1. Our Guarantee

We offer a straightforward 30-day money-back guarantee on all AnyCaptcha license purchases. If you are not satisfied with the plugin for any reason within 30 calendar days of your purchase date, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.

This policy exists because we genuinely believe AnyCaptcha will solve your Joomla CAPTCHA problems. But if it doesn’t, we don’t want your money.

Our promise: If you contact us within 30 days of purchase and request a refund, we will process it. Period. We will not ask you to justify your decision, jump through hoops, or fill out lengthy forms.

2. You Are Eligible for a Refund If…

The following situations qualify for a full refund within the 30-day window:

  • Plugin doesn’t work on your setup — AnyCaptcha fails to function on your Joomla 4 or Joomla 5 installation despite following the documentation and receiving our support
  • Incompatibility with your extensions — The plugin conflicts with a specific third-party extension and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe
  • Missing expected functionality — A feature described on our website or documentation is missing or doesn’t work as advertised
  • You simply changed your mind — You decided you no longer need the plugin, found a different solution, or just don’t want it anymore — no reason needed
  • Duplicate purchase — You accidentally bought the same license twice
  • Technical issue we can’t resolve — After working with our support team, the issue cannot be fixed and the plugin is unusable on your site

3. Refunds Are Not Available When…

In fairness to all customers, refunds cannot be issued in the following cases:

  • More than 30 days since purchase — The refund window has closed. We cannot make exceptions to this timeline
  • You didn’t contact support first — If your issue is technical and you haven’t given us a chance to help, we ask that you reach out before requesting a refund. Most issues are resolved within hours
  • Misuse or redistribution — You purchased the license with the intent to redistribute, resell, or share the plugin files with others
  • Third-party CAPTCHA provider issues — Problems with Google, Cloudflare, hCaptcha, GeeTest, or Friendly Captcha APIs that are outside our control (e.g., provider outages, API key errors on their end)
  • Server environment issues — Your hosting does not meet the minimum requirements (PHP 7.4+, Joomla 4.x or 5.x) and you are unwilling or unable to update

In practice: We almost always issue the refund even in borderline cases. We’d rather lose $9.99 than have an unhappy customer. The cases above are listed for transparency, not as barriers.

4. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple. Follow these steps:

We verify and confirm
We’ll verify your purchase within 1 business day and send you a confirmation that your refund is being processed. If we have a quick question, we’ll ask — but we won’t interrogate you.

Refund is issued
The refund is processed to your original payment method. You’ll receive a confirmation email once complete.

Funds appear in your account
Depending on your payment provider and bank, the refund will appear in your account within 5–10 business days.

5. Processing Timeline

Here’s what to expect after you submit your refund request:

  • Acknowledgment: Within 1 business day of receiving your email
  • Refund initiation: Within 2 business days of acknowledgment
  • Funds returned: 5–10 business days after initiation, depending on your bank or payment provider
  • Total maximum time: No more than 14 business days from request to refund in your account

In reality: Most refunds are processed within 24–48 hours of your email. Parbat personally handles every refund request — there’s no ticketing system or queue to wait in.

6. What Happens After a Refund

Once your refund is processed:

  • License deactivation — Your AnyCaptcha license will be deactivated. You will no longer have access to plugin updates or support
  • Plugin continues working — Because AnyCaptcha is GPL-licensed, the version you installed will continue to function on your site. However, you won’t receive future updates, security patches, or new CAPTCHA providers
  • No hard feelings — You’re always welcome to purchase again in the future if your needs change. We won’t hold a refund against you
  • We appreciate feedback — While not required, telling us why the plugin didn’t work for you helps us improve it for everyone

7. Renewal Refund Policy

AnyCaptcha licenses renew annually. Here’s how refunds work for renewals:

Refundable
If your license auto-renews and you didn’t intend to renew, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge for a full refund. We’ll deactivate the renewed license and refund the payment.
Not Refundable
Renewal refund requests made after 14 days of the renewal charge cannot be processed. You’ll retain access to updates and support through the end of your renewed period.

To avoid unwanted renewals, you can cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date. After cancellation, your license remains active until the end of your current paid period.

8. Special Cases & Exceptions

8.1 Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks incur processing fees and administrative burden on both sides. If you contact us first, we can typically resolve your issue or process a refund much faster than a chargeback dispute.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your license being permanently revoked and your account being flagged. Please give us a chance to make it right first.

8.2 Bulk or Multi-Site Purchases

If you purchased multiple licenses or a bulk deal, refunds are calculated on a per-license basis. You may request a refund for one or more licenses while keeping others active.

8.3 Custom Development Work

If you requested and received custom integration development as part of your AnyCaptcha purchase (e.g., a custom CAPTCHA provider integration), the custom development portion is non-refundable once the work has been delivered. The standard plugin license fee ($9.99) remains subject to the 30-day refund policy.

8.4 Promotional or Discounted Purchases

Purchases made during promotional periods or with a discount code are eligible for the same 30-day refund policy. The refund amount will be the actual amount you paid (i.e., the discounted price).
